Inventory Specialist 

Technical Support / Customer Service Representative

Inventory Specialist

We are now accepting applications for an Inventory Specialist.  The job involves inventory management, specialized computer technical work and shipping and receiving responsibilities. This is a specialized profile in which, an individual is required to multi-task and adjust to the workings of a dynamic environment. He/she is also liable to look into all inventory management functions while coordinating with internal as well as external sources of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels of telecommunication and computer equipment
  • Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required                                     
  • Perform software upgrades of the telecommunications computer equipment; extract configuration templates from the finished product and distribute the data to programming engineers per written and verbal instructions
  • Maintaining and overseeing the records of all stocks and compiling evaluation reports
  • Contact manufacturers for authorization to return non-stock or defective items
  • Compile, review, and maintain data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents in order to assess supply needs
  • Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued
  • Confer with engineering and purchasing personnel and vendors regarding stock procurement, availability, and best pricing
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer
  • Other duties as assigned

 Requirements

  • One year experience working on inventory software and programs
  • Two years computer experience with additional server experience a plus
  • Knowledge of using barcode equipment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and applications
  • Must possess strong calculative, organizational and analytical skill set
  • Ability and effectiveness to manage time to meet required deadlines
  • Good written and verbal communication expertise for networking and synchronizing work

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds on a routine basis

Technical Support / Customer Service Representative

We are now accepting applications for a Technical Support / Customer Service Representative

A brief overview of the position follows:

At Gsolutionz we are passionate about technology providing solutions to our customers that improve their productivity and enhance the way they communicate.  We build relationships with our customers and become their trusted advisors.

We work hard and play hard too!  We are looking for a Tech Support/Customer Service Representative that shares that same vision to join our growing team.  This key entry-level position will grow and mature into either a technical or a sales focused role. Our representatives are the frontline in customer interaction, responsible for the first level troubleshooting and repair.  Being comfortable in a fast paced environment that is rapidly changing is a must.

Our ideal candidate has a professional presence, enjoys people, is enthusiastic, results-driven, and confident in their ability to succeed.

 Qualifications:

  • Telecommunications, ISP, or related business experience is ideal
  • Experience working in a support roll with a service based company
  • PC literate, using Microsoft Office, web based applications, databases, etc.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Business, Sales & Marketing or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High energy and stamina, able to multi-task
  • Commitment; doing whatever it takes to get the job done correctly
  • Participative team player style – Good listener
  • Positive attitude
